IRINA DESIGNSIrina's PoetryClick on the poem title below to read it. Fall I adore this time of the year When the skies are so clear, The air is cleaner and colder And beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. The leaf colors are bright and bold The burgundy red and the yellow of gold. They remind me of a painter’s palette And satisfy my demanding esthetic palate. And I dream of painting this beauty Out of sense of admiration, not of duty, I want to capture this beauty so striking And paint the beautiful landscape of my liking. I want to walk outside in the picturesque parks Enjoying the last days of warmth and golden sparks. Collect the fallen leaves, acorns and pine cones Enjoy the clean air, blue sky and colorful leaf tones. Watch the squirrel run up the tree And admire the fall color potpourri. I want to snap a photo of this passing glamour As if created by the God of Amor To capture the moment of the nature’s glory Like a princess in a fairy story. I will keep the picture as a souvenir Of the time of the year so to me dear. The season of contrasts and magic The time of feelings contradictive and nostalgic The time of maturity and new beginnings The period of harvest and new meanings The season of sadness, the season of joy The season I so much love and enjoy. www.IrinaDesigns.com |
